1.Brief Introduction:
EXODOS Ljubljana, established in 1999, is a non-profit, independent theatre and dance production association. Since its very beginning, it represents a space for and crossroads of European and world cultures, bringing information to our audience and enabling other cultures to present and promote themselves. It is a synonym for widening cultural horizons and entwining intercultural exchanges and different views.
One of the main project is Exodos Festival, festival for contemporary stage arts, which is one of the largest and the oldest festival of contemporary performing arts in Slovenia and in this region of Europe in general.
The Exodos has been also establishing contacts with its European and international partners, collaborating with different artists, artistic groups and organisations on different international projects. (Corners of Europe, Summer dance camp In China, One Space project, project between Europe, Middle East and Africa)
In 2010 Exodos was recognised as important European cultural organisation by the ECEAE.
In 2012 Exodos was producer for international program for European Cultural Capital city Maribor 2012.
