1.Brief Introduction:

"The Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje (University of Montenegro) organizes basic and postgraduate studies in the field of drama and theater, film and media, and educating future actors, producers, theater and film directors and dramatists, and is a major source of cadre in drama arts in our country.

  Apart from the curriculum, the Faculty has realized and organized a number of significant extracurricular activities and projects over the years, with institutional partners from the public, private and non-governmental sector at the international, national and local level. The list of these partners includes, in particular, the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro, UNESCO, UNICEF, Montenegro's National Radio and Television Service, the Montenegrin National Theater, the Royal Theater Zetski dom, festivals and events of national importance as well as other regional faculties of drama arts. Thus, the Faculty of Dramatic Arts is present in the public and recognizable not only within Montenegro but also in regional projects in which it actively participates.  

  Even though there is no Dance department in our Faculty, only Dance as a subject in Acting department, students show great interest to attending the dance lessons and learn basic steps from various dance styles. They often express desire to achieve more than that, to learn more about dancing and to perform dance pieces on the stage. That's why we created a small Dance lab, in which they can play, explore, mix acting and dancing and create new language, sort of drama-dance language. Their dance technique is not expected to be great as if they were professional dancers, but, even with simple movements, backed up with some acting techniques, they can convey all complexity of human emotions and relations, and share the joy of dance across Montenegro.
