1.Organization profile
Zhejiang Conservatory of Music is a full-time public undergraduate institution of higher education upon the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. It is organized by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province and jointly established by the Zhejiang Provincial Government and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China. It is located in Xihu District, Hangzhou, with a beautiful campus environment and first-class facilities. Covering an area of 602 mu (about 40.13 hectares), Zhejiang Conservatory of Music has a grand theater, 3 concert halls, 3 theaters, 102 rehearsal halls, 906 piano rooms, 7 recording studios, libraries, Digital Music Zhejiang Engineering Research Center, and other teaching aids and art practice venues. There are 2,756 undergraduates, 410 postgraduates, and 552 faculty members, 371 of whom are full-time teachers in Zhejiang Conservatory of Music. Zhejiang conservatory of music has 3 first-level disciplines: Music and Dance, Art Theory, and Drama and Film Studies. IT has the right to confer master's degrees in Music and Dance and one discipline authorized to offer MFA program. It has 8 majors, including Composition & the Theory of the Technique for Composition, Musicology, Music Performance, Dancology, Dance Performance, Dance Choreography, Performance, Art and Technology, among which Musicology, Music Performance, and Composition & the Theory of the Technique for Composition are the 3 national first-class undergraduate majors. It has 5 research platforms: the Institute of Higher Music Education, the Institute of Drama, the Institute of Musicology, the Institute of Dancology, and the Institute of Higher Art and Cultural Management, as well as 5 new teaching platforms of performance disciplines: Orchestra Academy, National Orchestra Academy, Opera Academy, Chamber Music Academy, and Chorus Academy. It has established high-level art practice groups such as Symphony Orchestra, Chinese Orchestra, Eight Second Choir, Dance Troupe, Chamber Orchestra, and Song and Dance Troupe. It has also signed inter-school strategic cooperation agreements with many international famous music academies, and as the chairman unit, it has jointly initiated the establishment of the “China-CEEC Music Academies Union” with 16 music academies in CEE countries to actively carry out international cooperation and exchanges.

6. Cooperation needs, areas, and methods
(1) Conduct short-term student exchanges and exchange training for more than one semester with dance academies (or comprehensive art academies with dance discipline) in CEE countries.
(2) Carry out teachers’ cooperative creation and joint performance.
(3) Organize international dance festivals with member units, and support each other.
