The Dance Department of Music College, Capital Normal University has discipline authorized to offer doctoral degree program in “Music and Dance”. In 1999, it began to recruit undergraduates in Dancology all over the country. In 2011, it began to recruit postgraduates in Dancology. And in 2012, it began to recruit doctoral students in Dance Education. It has a complete teaching and scientific research system for cultivating undergraduates, masters, and doctors. Aiming at cultivating dance professionals with the comprehensive quality of modern culture and art, it undertakes the important task of training basic and advanced dance teachers across the country, and cultivating high-level scientific research talents for dance art research and dance academic institutions. With a strong faculty team, the Dance Department has won several national, provincial, and ministerial-level dance competitions in recent years after rigorous and systematic professional training. It has also made rich achievements in teaching and scientific research. Many excellent dance professionals have been trained across the country.

4. Cooperation needs, areas and methods
The Dance Department of Music College, Capital Normal University hopes to broaden its communication channels, further improve the level of internationalization, provide high-quality teachers, and create valuable and meaningful works with the help of the exchange and cooperation platform of China-CEEC Dance Union. In this sense, a good foundation has been laid for cooperation between China and CEE countries in various fields of dance art and even cultural and artistic exchanges. In the long-term cooperation process, the cultural exchange between China and CEE countries has been pushed to a new stage.
In terms of way of cooperation, the exchange of students and regular sharing and exchanges on the construction of majors and disciplines can be adopted to promote friendly exchanges between China and CEE countries.
