Chinese Dance Fen Mo Amazingly Astonished Audience in 5 CEECs

To further promote cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs), enhance people-to-people exchange under the Belt&Road Initiative and contribute to Chinese culture going global, the Department of Chinese Classical Dance of BDA was commissioned by the Ministry of Culture to tour 5 CEECs as part of the “Happy Chinese New Year” cultural program. Led by Zhang Qiang, Deputy President of BDA, the group has 39 people in total, including Zhang Hongbin, Deputy Director of Division for Eurasian Affairs, Bureau for External Cultural Relations, Ministry of Culture, 6 teachers and 31 senior students of the Department of Chinese Classical Dance. The group performed Fen Mo in 5 countries including Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Poland and Hungary.
At 8:00 pm local time on January 18, the group staged its premiere in Serbia. The performance was full of Chinese sentiments and cultural image, and left a profound impression on the Serbian audience.
The performance ended in thunderous applause. The audience responded with a sustained and standing ovation to show their enthusiastic appreciation of the performance, some of whom were even moved to tears. Fen Mo brought Chinese culture to a far-away land, living the good memory with the audience and impressed the world with every move of Chinese beauty.
